3-Rail & 4-Rail Sur-Loc Pallets

Within the past 30 years Weldcoas Sur-Loc Pallet has undergone a progressive evolution.

The most recent pallet design upgrade includes Weldcoas patented lock mechanism that features a recessed zerk fitting. The Zerk fitting makes maintenance a simple and quick process.

Another lock design innovation is the new grease reservoir. Every time the lock is actuated the reservoir lubricates all of the moving parts. Weldcoa recommends whenever possible that you use an anti-seize compound rather then grease to lubricate the pallet locks.

The locking plates at the face of the pallet have been modified to fortify the already formidable 4-point locking system. As always the Weldcoa Sur-Loc mechanism is clearly visible. The operator should visually confirm that the mechanism is engaged properly prior to transporting his cargo.

The corners of the diamond plate deck have been blunted for improved safety.

The new pallet base is structurally stronger than earlier models.

The fork pockets have been re-enforced to eliminate the possibility of broken plates.

Overall the Weldcoa Sur-Loc Pallet has a stronger more rigid deck then previous models due to its perpendicular supports that guarantee ease of operation and a longer pallet life.

All Weldcoa Pallets are manufactured on a robotic welder. The only aspect of the pallet that is done by hand are the internal components of the lock mechanism. Weldcoa manufactures a complete pallet every 12 minutes.

The floor of the Sur-Loc 3-rail pallet is 44.5" x 48". The fixed side rail measures 50" x 38.5"(H). The pallet floor to ground clearance is 3.25". All Weldcoa pallets have 4-way entry and are self-aligning when positioned into a pallet truck or trailer.

The Sur-Loc 4-rail pallet has the same footprint as the 3-rail but has an overall rail height of 47 1/8".

Both the 3-rail & 4-rail can hold up to 21 "T" cylinders. Though 18 cylinders are recommended in order to have a center aisle. The deck of Weldcoa’s Sur-Loc Pallets can accommodate any standard 4’ x 4’ wood pallet and cargo.

The 3-Rail Sur-Loc Pallet weighs approximately 347 lbs. The 4-Rail Sur-Loc Pallet weighs approximately 362 lbs.

Note: Weldcoa also manufactures a 3-Rail & 4-Rail Pallet with out locks. These units have been developed strictly for interplant use.
