Anything that we fill or handle in our industry has quality standards that are expected to be met by the manufacturer. In this Webinar, we are going to talk about quality in the form of gas purity and why it matters in your daily operation, as well as some simple ways to obtain it. We will go over some effective techniques as well as address some “urban legends” and if there is any validity to them.
Webinar Date and Time: Wednesday, May 6 - 10:00am - 10:40am CST
In this webinar, we will be talking about a crucial, yet often overlooked aspect of your operation; fill plant equipment calibrations, as well as traceability when performing calibrations. We will talk a little bit about why we calibrate (safety, quality, cost, etc.) as well as what traceability means and how to correctly achieve it. This Webinar would be particularly useful to anyone dealing with the monitoring of temperature, vacuum, and pressure in their operation, as well as anyone following any ISO or FDA guidelines.
Webinar Date and Time: Wednesday, May 13 - 10:00am - 10:40am CST
In this Webinar, we will be discussing the different types of leads and hoses; covering applications, compatibility, common tips and suggestions and safety cautions to look out for. In this Webinar, we will be discussing how to fill an insulated cryogenic liquid cylinder on a scale. We used a 180 liter high pressure (relative to low pressure filling) cylinder. For this demo, we filled the cylinder with liquid nitrogen. We covered some of the safety precautions as well as some of the best practices to ensure a proper fill. The same principles of this webinar apply to many of the various liquid filling applications an operator may run into on a daily basis.

In this Webinar, we will be discussing some of the key points to successfully filling a cylinder with straight gas by temperature and pressure as well as a hands-on demo. This particular demo we used a single gas control panel with a 10-cylinder linear manifold. Please know thou, that there are many manifold and control panel styles that can be used for this filling operation. A 300 Cubic Foot steel cylinder from Norris cylinders was used with a CGA-580 valve for inert gas service.

In this Webinar, we will be discussing some of the key points to successfully filling a gas mixture in a cylinder using the temperature and pressure of each component to ensure correct concentrations. A 300 Cubic foot steel cylinder with a CGA-580 valve for inert gas service was used for this mixture, and the component/concentrations are 25% CO2/ Balance (75%) Nitrogen. Some tips and tricks will be discussed, as well as a couple common issues often encountered when filling mixes.
